Capricorn Horoscope 2028: Love, Career, Money and Key Dates

For Capricorn, 2028 is the year your planet stops weighing on you and starts holding you up. Since February 14, 2026, Saturn, your ruler, has been crossing Aries and your 4th house, square your Sun: two years of walls, parents and foundations to inspect. On April 13, 2028, at 12:04 am ET, it moves into Taurus, trining your sign from your 5th house: love, children, creativity, pleasure. What it demanded of the roof over your head, it will now demand of your joys: that they last.

Three other movements round out the year. The eclipses leave the Leo–Aquarius axis, your 8th and 2nd houses, for the Cancer–Capricorn axis: your 7th house and your own sign, where the North Node settles in from March and where the July 6 eclipse lands. Jupiter leaves your far horizons on August 24 for Libra, your 10th house: thirteen months of career. What changes from 2027

Your 2027 horoscope described a year spent on the foundations: Saturn and Neptune in your 4th house, Jupiter settling joint accounts before opening up your horizons in Virgo, eclipses over your income. 2028 moves the work crew around: Saturn leaves the 4th house, Jupiter leaves the 9th, and the lunar nodes move from the 2nd–8th axis onto your own sign.

Your 4th house keeps Neptune alone: home stays a sensitive spot, without the deadline Saturn had set there. Your 5th house receives your planet, your 10th house the most generous one: the heart and the career, two things Capricorn happily puts off until later, become the poles of the year. April 13: Saturn, your planet, moves from square to trine

Saturn has occupied your 4th house since February 14, 2026, square your Sun from Aries: housing, parents, your place in the family. On April 13, at 12:04 am, it moves into Taurus, your 5th house, until May 31, 2030; its last stay there goes back to 1998–2001. The trine changes everything: the planet works with you. Still, this Saturn transit through the 5th house asks your love life for a shape, your children for a framework, your creativity for a schedule. Mars arrives on April 27 and makes the conjunction on April 30, at 2°16′ Taurus: whatever you decide about your love life or creative life between April 13 and mid-May sets the tone for the next two years, and the retrograde from August 22 to January 5, 2029 confirms it.

May 10 to June 22: Venus retrograde in your 6th house, the daily grind to readjust

Venus stays in Gemini from April 3 to August 7, in your 6th house: daily work, coworkers, routines, health habits. It is retrograde from May 10 at 7:01 pm (19°41′) to June 22 at 6:14 pm (3°11′); the shadow runs from April 7 to July 26. What comes up for review isn’t the great love of your life but the comfort of your days: a worn-out understanding at the office, health habits left to run wild. Mercury is retrograde in Gemini too, from May 21 to June 14: schedules, tools, an employment contract get a second reading. On June 23, Mars conjoins Uranus at 11°25′ Gemini: a reorganization you kept postponing happens abruptly. This Venus retrograde checks that the machine you built still serves you; make your decision after June 22.

August 24: Jupiter enters Libra, at the top of your chart

Jupiter has been crossing Virgo and your 9th house since July 26, 2027, trining your sign: training, foreign places, publishing. Retrograde from January 12 (27°31′) to May 13 (17°32′), it makes you rethink a departure. On August 24 at 1:04 am, it enters Libra and your 10th house, until September 24, 2029; it hadn’t passed through there since 2016–2017. This is the Jupiter transit Capricorn waits for: your career expands, a promotion or a new status comes into view. On September 24, Jupiter trine Pluto links career and income. The eclipses arrive on your axis: you and the other person

Since the summer of 2026, Leo and Aquarius had been hosting the eclipses, in your 8th and 2nd houses. The annular solar eclipse of January 26, at 6°11′ Aquarius, closes the series; in the US, only the East Coast sees a small partial phase that morning. The new axis, Cancer–Capricorn, links your 7th house to your 1st through September 2029: the North Node in your sign, the South Node opposite. On the night of January 11, the partial lunar eclipse at 21°34′ Cancer, visible across the US, puts a partner in the spotlight. On July 6, the partial lunar eclipse at 15°16′ Capricorn, out of view from the US, is the only one of the year in your sign: what you carry alone becomes visible. On the evening of July 21, the total solar eclipse at 29°51′ Cancer, seen from Australia and New Zealand, closes one form of relationship to open another. On December 31, the total lunar eclipse at 10°35′ Cancer is below the horizon for the US but on view from Europe and Asia: the year ends face to face with someone.

The real relationship chapter is written by the eclipses in your 7th house. On July 21, the total solar eclipse on the last degree of Cancer closes one way of being a couple and opens another; Venus in Cancer from August 7 to September 5 makes that the month to meet someone or to rebuild.
