Aries Horoscope 2028: Love, Career, Money and Key Dates

16 min readby Eztebe
Golden arch of the ecliptic on a starry sky with the twelve signs: Aries, enlarged and glowing, opens the arch; Saturn moves away from it and a long golden thread links it to Jupiter, high up near Libra.

For Aries, 2028 is the year the pressure lifts and you have to decide what to do with everything it produced. Since February 2026, Saturn has been moving through your sign: two years of asking you for shape, discipline and staying power. On April 13, 2028, at 12:04 am, it enters Taurus and moves one house along. It doesn’t let go of you; it relocates you, from the question “who am I becoming?” to “what is going to pay for all this?” Your 2nd house, the house of money and resources, is its work site until 2030.

Three other shifts shape the year. Venus backs up through Gemini from May 10 to June 22, in your 3rd house: six weeks to review what you say, write and sign. Jupiter leaves your 6th house of daily work on August 24 and enters Libra, the sign opposite yours, opening thirteen months of partnership, alliances and contracts. And the eclipses leave the Leo–Aquarius axis for Cancer–Capricorn: home and career become the two poles of a new eighteen-month chapter. Mars, your ruler, doesn’t turn retrograde even once, so the engine runs smoothly all year.

The short version: what 2028 changes for Aries
  • April 13: Saturn leaves your sign after two years and enters Taurus, your 2nd house — money, resources and what your work is worth are the subject until 2030.
  • May 10 – June 22: Venus retrograde in Gemini, in your 3rd house — words, writing, contracts, siblings: reread before you close the deal.
  • August 24: Jupiter enters Libra, your 7th house — after thirteen months focused on work, the year of other people begins: partners, associates, clients.
  • January 11, July 21, December 31: three eclipses in Cancer, in your 4th house — home and family are in motion, with a career eclipse in Capricorn on July 6.

What changes from 2027

Last year, your 2027 horoscope described a year of construction: Saturn and Neptune in your sign, Mars retrograde in the first quarter, Jupiter moving from pleasure to work in July. 2028 inherits all of that and deals it out again: Saturn leaves the sign, Jupiter leaves the 6th house, and the lunar nodes leave your 11th and 5th houses. Three of the six rows in the table change.

PlanetIn 2027In 2028Your solar house in 2028
JupiterLeo, then Virgo from July 26Virgo, then Libra from August 246th house (daily work, health habits, routines), then 7th house (partnership, alliances, contracts)
SaturnAriesAries, then Taurus from April 131st house (you, your body, your drive), then 2nd house (money, resources, self-worth)
UranusGeminiGemini, all year3rd house (communication, learning, siblings, short trips)
NeptuneAriesAries, all year1st house (you, your body, your drive)
PlutoAquariusAquarius, all year11th house (friends, networks, group projects)
North Node / South NodeAquarius / LeoCapricorn / Cancer from March (new eclipse axis)10th house (career, status, ambition) / 4th house (home, family, roots)

Read this table like a change of address. Your 1st house keeps Neptune, and only Neptune: no more Saturn to give the ideal a frame, which makes 2028 lighter but hazier. Your 2nd house takes in Saturn and your 7th house takes in Jupiter: money and partners, two areas where you never decide alone, take over the space that used to belong to you alone. The lunar nodes move from the friends–lovers axis (11th and 5th houses) to the career–home axis (10th and 4th houses) starting in March.

The four turning points of 2028 for Aries

Nobody lives a year in one block. This one has four hinges, and each of them moves your attention from one house to another.

April 13: Saturn leaves your sign and moves on to your finances

Saturn has been in your sign since February 14, 2026. On April 13 at 12:04 am, it enters Taurus and your 2nd house, where it stays until May 31, 2030. The subject is no longer your identity but what holds it up: income, budget, the rates you charge, what you own and what it costs you. A Saturn transit through the 2nd house doesn’t take things away; it counts them. It rewards books that balance and exposes whatever rests on thin air. Mars joins it on April 27 and conjoins it on the evening of April 30 at 2°16′ Taurus: a material decision made between April 13 and mid-May — a rate, a contract, an expense you choose to skip — commits the whole cycle. Saturn’s retrograde, from August 22 to January 5, 2029, is there to check that the decision holds.

May 10 to June 22: Venus retrograde in your 3rd house, words under review

This year Venus backs up through your house of communication, short trips, siblings and neighbors. From 7:01 pm on May 10 (19°41′ Gemini) to 6:14 pm on June 22 (3°11′ Gemini), with a shadow period from April 7 to July 26, what you say and what you sign needs a second read; Mercury goes retrograde in the same stretch of sky from May 21 to June 14. In practice: a conversation that got off on the wrong foot with a brother, a sister, a neighbor or a close coworker comes back to the table; a text, a website, an offer you thought was finished gets rewritten. Aries closes fast; this Venus retrograde gives you six weeks in which the right word is worth more than speed. Agreements made after June 22, and better still after July 26, hold.

August 24: Jupiter enters Libra, opposite you

Since July 26, 2027, Jupiter has been crossing your 6th house: everyday work, routines, health habits. Its retrograde from January 12 to May 13 sends you back over the setup you adopted last summer. On August 24 at 1:04 am, Jupiter enters Libra and your 7th house, where it stays until September 24, 2029. This Jupiter transit widens your circle of partners, draws offers to team up, makes contracts more generous and meetings easier. It also puts a question to Aries, who likes to decide alone: how much say are you willing to give someone else? On September 28, Jupiter opposes Neptune in your sign: partnerships get idealized, promises swell, and you need to check what the other side actually brings. On October 27, Jupiter trine Uranus links the 7th house to your 3rd: an alliance comes through a conversation, a written contract, a trip.

The eclipses move to the home–career axis

Since summer 2026, the eclipses have been falling in Leo and Aquarius, your 5th and 11th houses. The annular eclipse of January 26 at 6°11′ Aquarius closes that series. From the US it’s only a morning nibble, and only in the East: about 16% of the Sun covered in Miami around 9:15 am, barely 3% in New York around 10:01 am, while the full ring sets with the Sun over southern Spain and Portugal. The new axis is Cancer–Capricorn, your 4th and 10th houses, active until 2029. On the night of January 11, a partial lunar eclipse at 21°34′ Cancer, visible across the country (peak at 11:13 pm ET), opens it on the home front. On July 6, the partial lunar eclipse at 15°16′ Capricorn touches your career. On the night of July 21, the total solar eclipse at 29°51′ Cancer — on the sign’s last degree, seen only from Australia and New Zealand, where it’s already July 22 — plants a new beginning in your 4th house: housing, family, parents, the place where you put down roots. On December 31, the total lunar eclipse at 10°35′ Cancer, which plays out below the US horizon but can be seen from Europe and Asia, closes the year on the same theme. Eighteen months in which the question “where do I live, and for what kind of career?” comes back three times.

2028 season by season

The milestones below are in US Eastern Time (New York) and keep only the major events for your sign: ingresses of Mars and the slow planets, stations, eclipses, lunations in your sign or opposite it, aspects between slow planets.

Winter (January 1 – March 19): Saturn’s last lap

  • January 3 11:00 am Mars enters Aquarius · 11th house
  • January 8 2:11 pm Mars sextile Neptune · 11th and 1st houses

  • February 14 7:42 am Mercury turns direct at 3°59′ Aquarius · 11th house
  • March 19 3:35 pm Mars enters Aries · 1st house

The year starts far from you: Mars enters Aquarius on January 3, in your 11th house, and you work for a group rather than for yourself. On the night of January 11, the lunar eclipse in Cancer raises a housing or family question early on; a few hours later, Jupiter turns around in your 6th house, and until May 13 you rethink how your work is organized. Mercury retrograde in the 11th house from January 24 to February 14 muddles things with friends; the January 26 eclipse, in the same house, closes the cycle that opened in 2026. Then the spotlight swings back to you: Venus enters Aries on February 7 and, until March 4, you charm people and get what you ask for; Mars slips into Pisces on February 10, your 12th house, for five weeks behind the scenes. On March 19 at 3:35 pm, Mars enters your sign, a few hours before the equinox.

Spring (March 19 – June 20): a fresh start, and Saturn shifts ground

  • March 19 10:17 pm Sun enters Aries · 1st house

  • June 8 9:49 pm Neptune sextile Pluto · 1st and 11th houses
  • June 14 2:05 am Mercury turns direct at 7°45′ Gemini · 3rd house
  • June 19 10:47 pm Mars sextile Neptune · 3rd and 1st houses

This is the busiest season of your year. Mars is in your sign until April 27, it’s your solar season, and the New Moon of March 26 at 6°03′ Aries lands almost on top of Neptune: the drive is there, inspired and a little blurry. Whatever you launch between March 26 and April 13 grows out of a hunch more than a plan, so keep a written note of what you’re aiming for. On April 13, Saturn enters Taurus and the center of gravity moves toward money; Mars joins it on April 27, and their conjunction on April 30 calls for a clear material decision. Then words go into reverse: Venus turns retrograde on May 10 and Mercury on the 21st, both in Gemini in your 3rd house, while Jupiter turns direct on May 13 in your 6th house — work moves forward, but whatever gets said and signed around it has to wait. Mars speeds up conversations from June 7; Mercury turns direct on the 14th.

Summer (June 20 – September 22): home first, then alliances

  • June 22 6:14 pm Venus turns direct at 3°11′ Gemini · 3rd house
  • June 23 11:18 pm Saturn square Pluto · 2nd and 11th houses
  • July 6 2:19 pm Partial lunar eclipse at 15°16′ Capricorn · 10th house
  • July 11 9:18 am Neptune turns retrograde at 8°54′ Aries · 1st house
  • July 20 4:09 pm Mars enters Cancer · 4th house
  • July 21 10:55 pm Total solar eclipse at 29°51′ Cancer · 4th house
  • August 2 6:02 pm Mars square Neptune · 4th and 1st houses
  • August 22 6:17 pm Saturn turns retrograde at 11°19′ Taurus · 2nd house
  • August 24 1:04 am Jupiter enters Libra · 7th house
  • September 4 10:36 am Mars enters Leo · 5th house
  • September 16 10:21 pm Mars trine Neptune · 5th and 1st houses
  • September 18 8:06 pm Uranus turns retrograde at 14°14′ Gemini · 3rd house
  • September 19 12:27 pm Mercury turns retrograde at 18°36′ Libra · 7th house

Venus turns direct on the evening of June 22, and the following night Saturn forms its first square to Pluto, between your 2nd and 11th houses: what you earn and what you give to a group pull against each other, and the question returns on November 15. On July 6, the lunar eclipse in Capricorn touches your career; on the 11th, Neptune turns retrograde in your sign until December 16, and the ideal of the past two years gets corrected. Mars enters Cancer on July 20, in your 4th house, the day before the total solar eclipse of July 21: home is at the center of summer — renovations, a move, a parent who needs you. In late August, everything tips toward other people: Saturn turns retrograde on August 22 in your 2nd house, time to check your numbers, and in the early hours of the 24th, Jupiter enters Libra. Mars in Leo from September 4 steers energy toward pleasure and creative work. On September 18, Uranus turns retrograde in your 3rd house, and the next day Mercury turns retrograde in Libra, your 7th house: an agreement with a partner gets renegotiated until October 11.

Fall and year’s end (September 22 – December 31): the year of other people begins

  • September 24 3:39 am Jupiter trine Pluto · 7th and 11th houses
  • September 28 3:29 pm Jupiter opposite Neptune · 7th and 1st houses
  • October 3 12:25 pm Full Moon at 11°00′ Aries · 1st house
  • October 11 6:30 am Mercury turns direct at 3°29′ Libra · 7th house
  • October 17 10:57 pm New Moon at 25°16′ Libra · 7th house
  • October 19 12:19 am Pluto turns direct at 6°24′ Aquarius · 11th house
  • October 23 9:11 pm Mars enters Virgo · 6th house
  • October 27 5:03 am Jupiter trine Uranus · 7th and 3rd houses
  • November 7 11:21 pm Neptune sextile Pluto · 1st and 11th houses
  • November 15 7:29 am Saturn square Pluto · 2nd and 11th houses
  • December 16 3:56 pm Neptune turns direct at 6°06′ Aries · 1st house
  • December 21 3:46 am Mars enters Libra · 7th house
  • December 31 11:51 am Total lunar eclipse at 10°35′ Cancer · 4th house

Fall belongs to Jupiter in Libra. On September 24, its trine to Pluto links your partners to your networks: an alliance forms through a group or a friend. On September 28, its opposition to Neptune, in your sign, is the date to watch this quarter: you may expect from a partner what they can’t give, or promise more than you’ll deliver. The Full Moon of October 3 at 11°00′ Aries shows what you really want out of this face-to-face; the New Moon of October 17 in Libra lets you reword its terms. Mars enters Virgo on the evening of October 23, in your 6th house, and brings your energy back to practical matters until December 21. On November 15, Saturn’s second square to Pluto asks you to arbitrate between your accounts and your commitments to a group. Neptune turns direct on December 16, Mars enters Libra on the 21st, opposite you, and on December 31 the total lunar eclipse in Cancer closes the year in your 4th house. It peaks just before noon Eastern Time, with the Moon below the horizon here (Europe and Asia get the view), but the theme carries into the evening: New Year’s Eve is spent with family, or spent talking about it.

Love and relationships: Aries in 2028

Your charm window opens early: Venus is in Aries from February 7 to March 4, while Mars retreats into your 12th house. You attract without pushing, and February’s encounters have a softness the year won’t find again until fall. Spring is talkative and uncertain: Venus retrograde from May 10 to June 22 in your 3rd house doesn’t hit the relationship itself first, but the language of love — messages, misunderstandings, an old flame who writes again, a declaration you end up making twice. In a couple, it’s the season for saying what has gone unsaid; if you’re single, it’s the season to reconnect before you meet someone new.

The real love chapter starts on August 24. Jupiter in the 7th house until September 2029 is, for an Aries, one of the best partnership transits there is: it makes commitment appealing, the other person more present, and the formal steps — moving in, marriage, a contract — feel more natural. The New Moon of October 17 in Libra is the way in, and Mars in Libra from December 21 adds attraction, along with its share of friction. Two things to watch: Jupiter’s opposition to Neptune on September 28, which flatters the other person beyond reason, and the South Node in Cancer from March, which pulls family questions into the heart of the relationship.

Work, career and money

Until August 24, Jupiter in your 6th house remains your best professional ally: the job grows, conditions improve, tasks start to make sense; its retrograde from January 12 to May 13 is for fine-tuning the setup of summer 2027, not for changing course. The July 6 eclipse in Capricorn, in your 10th house, puts you on display: a responsibility, a title, a change in who you report to, and until 2029 the Cancer–Capricorn axis asks how to balance career and home. From August 24, work runs through other people: partners, clients, contractors. Mercury retrograde in Libra from September 19 to October 11 reopens a contract; Jupiter trine Uranus, on October 27, brings another one to the table, more unexpected.

Money-wise, 2028 is the year that counts. Saturn in Taurus from April 13, 2028 to May 31, 2030 crosses your 2nd house: the transit that structures income, imposes a budget, makes you pay down debt and rewards patience. Not a lean year, but a year when you name your price and drop an expense that isn’t worth what it costs. The Mars–Saturn conjunction of April 30 is the decision date; Saturn’s retrograde from August 22 to January 5, 2029 tests how solid it is; the two squares to Pluto, on June 23 and November 15, set your resources against what a group, a partner or a cause expects of you.

Health, energy and balance

For the first time since 2026, Mars doesn’t go retrograde: your energy has no scheduled breakdown, only seasons. From February 10 to March 19, in your 12th house, it recharges out of sight: sleep more. From March 19 to April 27, Mars in your sign puts you at full throttle; its conjunction with Neptune on the evening of March 27 simply asks you not to mistake momentum for exhaustion. Mars in Gemini from June 7 to July 20 scatters you; Mars in Virgo from October 23 to December 21, in your 6th house, is the best stretch to set up an exercise or sleep routine that sticks. Neptune, still in your sign, is retrograde from July 11 to December 16: summer fatigue often comes from an ideal you’re carrying alone.

By your birth date

A sign spans thirty degrees and a slow planet only touches about ten of them at a time: depending on your birthday, 2028 doesn’t have the same contours. The table gives each decan’s exact contacts; the paragraphs spell out what they mean.

DecanBorn betweenDegreesWhat touches it in 2028
1st decanMarch 21 – 300°–9°Uranus in sextile, until May 30
Neptune on your degrees, all year
Pluto in sextile, all year
Jupiter in opposition, August 24 – October 10
2nd decanMarch 31 – April 910°–19°Uranus in sextile, from May 30
Jupiter in opposition, October 10 – November 28
3rd decanApril 10 – 1920°–29°Saturn on your degrees, until April 13
Jupiter in opposition, from November 28

Born March 21–30 (1st decan): inspiration, then the face-to-face

Neptune sits on your degrees all year, and the New Moon of March 26 falls at 6°03′ Aries, almost on top of it: your spring starts with a strong hunch, provided you write it down before it fades. From August 24 to October 10, Jupiter opposite you from Libra puts you first in line to face a partner or an offer, and its opposition to Neptune on September 28 plays out on your degrees. You are the decan of the year of other people.

Born March 31 – April 9 (2nd decan): the freest year

Saturn left you in 2027 and no slow planet touches your degrees in the first half: your freest year since 2025. Uranus moves into sextile on May 30 and stays: your commutes, your tools, the way you learn all change, and you enjoy it. The Full Moon of October 3, at 11°00′ Aries, lights up your degrees just as Jupiter, in opposition from October 10 to November 28, offers you an alliance: fall asks you for a clear answer to someone.

Born April 10–19 (3rd decan): Saturn lets you go last

You are the last to carry Saturn: it sits on your degrees until April 13, a whole winter on the home stretch, and what you complete between January and April is what will last. After that, a long breather: nothing touches you directly until Jupiter’s opposition, from November 28, which stretches the year of other people into 2029 for you. The eclipse of January 11 at 21°34′ Cancer, square your degrees, makes home your winter subject.

Dates to circle in your 2028 calendar

  1. January 11: partial lunar eclipse in Cancer, in your 4th house, visible across the US that night — the home question opens.
  2. January 26: annular solar eclipse in Aquarius, the last on the friends–lovers axis; from the East Coast, only a small partial eclipse in the morning.
  3. February 7: Venus enters Aries until March 4 — your charm window.
  4. March 19: Mars enters your sign, a few hours before the equinox; full throttle until April 27.
  5. March 26: New Moon in Aries on Neptune — the hunch of the year.
  6. April 13: Saturn leaves your sign and enters Taurus; Mars conjoins it on April 30 — the money decision.
  7. May 10: Venus turns retrograde in Gemini until June 22 — reread before you sign.
  8. August 24: Jupiter enters Libra, opposite you — the year of partners begins.
  9. September 28: Jupiter opposite Neptune — check what a partner is promising.
  10. December 31: total lunar eclipse in Cancer, visible from Europe and Asia — the year closes on family.

Aries Ascendant: this page is for you too

If your Ascendant is in Aries, the houses described here are your actual houses, not just solar ones: Saturn leaves your 1st house on April 13, Jupiter enters your 7th house on August 24, and the Cancer eclipses fall at the base of your chart, the IC. Read this page first for body, money, relationships and home, and your Sun sign’s page for vitality and image. If you don’t know your rising sign, the Ascendant calculator only needs your birth time and place; without a time, your Sun sign remains the right reading.

Your heading for 2028

Put a price on what you’ve built. Two years of Saturn kept you standing; from April 13, it asks you to fund what you’re holding up. Between April 13 and April 30, get your accounts in order and set what you charge — and when Jupiter reaches Libra on August 24, choose your partners for what they bring, not for what they promise.

Nothing here is written in advance. Transits describe the areas of life the year calls on and the moments when it does; what you make of them is up to you, which is the whole point of our ethics charter.

Aries in 2028: frequently asked questions

What does 2028 have in store for Aries?

A year of reshuffling. Saturn leaves Aries on April 13 and moves to your money house until 2030, Jupiter enters Libra on August 24 and opens thirteen months of partnerships, and the Cancer eclipses of January 11, July 21 and December 31 put home at the center. Mars, your ruler, never turns retrograde, so your energy stays steady all year.

Is 2028 a good year for love for Aries?

Yes, especially from August 24, when Jupiter enters your partnership house until September 2029: commitment, moving in together and serious relationships are favored. Before that, Venus in Aries from February 7 to March 4 is your best stretch for attraction, while Venus retrograde from May 10 to June 22 mostly scrambles messages. Around September 28, it’s easy to idealize the other person.

What does Saturn in Taurus mean for Aries?

Saturn enters Taurus on April 13, 2028 at 12:04 am ET and stays until May 31, 2030. For Aries, it moves from the 1st house to the 2nd: the pressure shifts from your identity to your income, your budget and what your work is worth. The cycle rewards well-kept accounts, with a first decision around April 30, when Mars joins it.

How does the May–June 2028 Venus retrograde affect Aries?

Venus is retrograde from May 10 to June 22, 2028 in Gemini, the 3rd house for Aries: communication, short contracts, siblings, neighbors, commutes. Misunderstandings get a second look, a text or an offer gets rewritten, an old conversation resurfaces. Mercury backs up through the same part of the zodiac from May 21 to June 14, which reinforces the effect. Sign after June 22 if you can.

What are the best months of 2028 for Aries?

From March 19 to April 27, Mars in your sign and the New Moon of March 26 give you the clearest push of the year. February, with Venus in Aries from February 7 to March 4, is your month for charm. September and October, after Jupiter enters Libra on August 24, are best for partnerships, with Jupiter trine Pluto on September 24 and trine Uranus on October 27.

How is 2028 different from 2027 for Aries?

2027 was a year of building, with Saturn in your sign and Mars retrograde from January to April. 2028 reshuffles the deck: Saturn leaves the sign on April 13, Jupiter moves into Libra on August 24, the eclipses leave the Leo–Aquarius axis for Cancer–Capricorn, and Mars stays direct all year. Less pressure on you, more questions about money, partners and home.
