Taurus Horoscope 2028: Love, Career, Money and Key Dates

16 min readby Eztebe
Golden arch of the ecliptic on a starry sky with the twelve signs: Taurus, enlarged and glowing, with Saturn at its feet; above Gemini, Venus traces a retrograde loop tied to Taurus by a golden thread, and Jupiter heads for Libra.

For Taurus, 2028 is the year you step out from backstage. Saturn has been in your 12th house, the house of retreat and reckoning, since February 14, 2026. On April 13, 2028, just after midnight (12:04 am), it crosses the first degree of your sign — the first time since 1998–2001 — and stays until May 31, 2030. The work is no longer happening in the background: the project is you. Your body, your pace, the promises you make and the image you project become the subject. Saturn in your 1st house doesn’t take anything away; it asks you to choose what you will carry.

Three other movements shape the year. Venus, your ruling planet, backs up through Gemini, your 2nd house, from May 10 to June 22: six weeks to recount income, spending and worth. Jupiter leaves your 5th house on August 24, after thirteen months of pleasure in trine to your sign, and moves into Libra, your 6th house: daily work takes on more scope until September 2029. The eclipses leave the career–home axis (10th and 4th houses) for your 9th and 3rd houses: study and travel, words and learning. Mars doesn’t go retrograde and crosses your sign from April 27 to June 7.

The short version: what 2028 changes for Taurus
  • April 13: Saturn enters Taurus, your 1st house — the planet of structure settles on you: body, commitments, image, until May 31, 2030.
  • May 10 – June 22: Venus, your ruler, retrograde in Gemini in your 2nd house — income, spending, rates: count again before you renegotiate.
  • August 24: Jupiter moves into Libra and your 6th house — after thirteen months of pleasure, thirteen months of daily work and method.
  • January 11, July 21 and December 31: Cancer hosts three eclipses, in your 3rd house — words, learning, the people close to you; a study eclipse on July 6 in Capricorn.

What changes from 2027

Your 2027 horoscope told the story of a year on the threshold: no slow planet in your sign, Saturn and Neptune out of sight in your 12th house, Jupiter moving from home to pleasure on July 26. 2028 crosses that threshold: Saturn enters your sign, Jupiter leaves the 5th house for the 6th, and the lunar nodes leave your 10th and 4th houses. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto stay put: the set doesn’t change, but the lead role does.

PlanetIn 2027In 2028Your solar house in 2028
JupiterLeo, then Virgo from July 26Virgo, then Libra from August 245th house (love, creativity, children, pleasure), then 6th house (daily work, health habits, routines)
SaturnAriesAries, then Taurus from April 1312th house (rest, retreat, inner life), then 1st house (you, your body, your drive)
UranusGeminiGemini, all year2nd house (money, resources, self-worth)
NeptuneAriesAries, all year12th house (rest, retreat, inner life)
PlutoAquariusAquarius, all year10th house (career, status, ambition)
North Node / South NodeAquarius / LeoCapricorn / Cancer from March (new eclipse axis)9th house (travel, study, beliefs) / 3rd house (communication, learning, siblings, short trips)

Two rows of this table make the year. Your 1st house takes in Saturn: empty of slow planets since Uranus left in 2026, it fills up again on April 13. Your 6th house takes in Jupiter on August 24. From March, the South Node moves into Cancer, your 3rd house, and the North Node into Capricorn, your 9th: what you have to learn shifts from ambition toward meaning. Neptune stays alone in the 12th house: the holding back ends, the dreaming goes on.

The four turning points of 2028 for Taurus

Four dates give the year its joints; at each one, the spotlight moves to a different house, and the first sets the tone for the other three.

April 13: Saturn enters your sign

Since February 14, 2026, Saturn has been crossing your 12th house, the house of invisible work. On April 13, at 12:04 am, it moves into Taurus: your 1st house, until May 31, 2030. A Saturn transit over your own sign asks for steadiness — of the body, of your time, of your word — and makes it clearer what you’re ready to carry for two years. Born between 1998 and 2001? This is your Saturn return. Everything follows in quick succession: the Sun joins you on April 19, the New Moon of April 24 falls at 5°09′ Taurus, and Mars enters your sign on April 27 and catches up with Saturn on April 30, at 2°16′. What you decide to commit to between April 13 and early May binds the whole cycle; Saturn’s retrograde, from August 22 to January 5, 2029, tests how well it holds.

May 10 – June 22: your ruler Venus backs up through your 2nd house, money under review

Venus, which rules Taurus, goes retrograde this year in your house of money and self-worth. It stations at 7:01 pm on May 10, at 19°41′ Gemini, and turns direct at 6:14 pm on June 22, at 3°11′; the shadow runs from April 7 to July 26, and Mercury also backs up through Gemini from May 21 to June 14. This Venus retrograde asks whether you like what your income has become since Uranus arrived in 2026, and it brings up whatever has been dragging: a late payment, an expense you can no longer justify, a price you haven’t dared to ask. On June 23, the day after Venus turns direct, Mars conjoins Uranus in this same house: let that day’s urge to splurge pass. Big purchases can wait until after June 23, ideally until July 26.

August 24: Jupiter enters Libra, your 6th house

Since July 26, 2027, Jupiter in Virgo has been trining your sign from your 5th house: love, creativity, children, pleasure. Between January 12 (27°31′) and May 13 (17°32′), it is retrograde and brings back a pleasure or a project from fall 2027; then come its best months, May through August. Jupiter moves into Libra at 1:04 am on August 24 and settles into your 6th house until September 24, 2029. This Jupiter transit enlarges the job, multiplies tasks, coworkers and contractors, and gives routines more weight; the risk is cluttering up your days. On September 28, Jupiter opposes Neptune in your 12th house: an overloaded schedule can hide exhaustion. On October 27, its trine to Uranus connects your work to your income.

The eclipses leave your career for your words and your roads

Since summer 2026, the eclipses have been landing on the Leo–Aquarius axis, your 4th and 10th houses. The annular eclipse of January 26, at 6°11′ Aquarius, is the last of that series; it falls in your 10th house and wraps up a professional chapter. In the US you’ll barely notice it: a small morning partial eclipse along the East Coast (about 16% of the Sun covered in Miami around 9:15 am), nothing out West, while the ring itself is seen at sunset from southern Spain and Portugal. The baton passes to the Cancer–Capricorn axis, your 3rd and 9th houses, until September 2029. It opens on the night of January 11 with a partial lunar eclipse at 21°34′ Cancer, visible from coast to coast, in your 3rd house. On July 6, a partial lunar eclipse at 15°16′ Capricorn touches your 9th house: study, travel, convictions. A total solar eclipse follows at 10:55 pm ET on July 21, at 29°51′ Cancer — already July 22 in Australia, where it can be seen: a new moon of departure in your 3rd house, for learning, writing and speaking. The total lunar eclipse of December 31, at 10°35′ Cancer, visible from Europe and Asia but not from the US, ends the year in the same place.

2028 season by season

All times are US Eastern Time (New York). Each season opens with its major milestones as seen from Taurus — Mars, the slow planets, eclipses, lunations in your sign or opposite it — followed by what they mean.

Winter plays out at the top of your chart. From January 3, Mars is in Aquarius and your 10th house: your career heats up early. On the night of January 11, the lunar eclipse in Cancer raises the first question of the new axis — a relative, a trip — just hours before Jupiter turns retrograde in your 5th house: a pleasure from fall 2027 goes on pause until May 13. Mercury retrograde in the 10th house from January 24 to February 14 brings back a work conversation, and the annular eclipse of January 26 closes eighteen months of ambition. Mars moves into Pisces on February 10, in your 11th house; Uranus turns direct on the evening of the 12th. On March 4, Venus enters your sign until April 3: your charm window, the last one before Saturn. Mars moves into Aries on March 19, your 12th house: five weeks behind the curtain.

  • June 8 9:49 pm Neptune sextile Pluto · 12th and 10th houses
  • June 14 2:05 am Mercury turns direct at 7°45′ Gemini · 2nd house

This is the season that decides the year. Until April 27, Mars in Aries and the New Moon of March 26 in your 12th house keep you backstage: don’t launch anything before mid-April. On April 13, Saturn enters your sign; the Sun joins it on the 19th, the New Moon of April 24 at 5°09′ Taurus carries the intention of the year, and Mars arrives on the 27th and conjoins Saturn on the 30th: energy meets structure, and this is the moment to decide. The Full Moon of May 8 in Scorpio, opposite you, shows how a partner responds to your new framework. On May 9, Pluto turns retrograde in your 10th house and Mars squares it: friction with the people above you. Then money goes back under review: Venus stations on May 10 in your 2nd house and Mercury joins it on the 21st, while Jupiter turns direct on May 13 in the 5th house — pleasures pick up again, the budget waits. Mercury turns direct on June 14.

Summer (June 20 – September 22): words first, then work

  • June 22 6:14 pm Venus turns direct at 3°11′ Gemini · 2nd house
  • June 23 11:18 pm Saturn square Pluto · 1st and 10th houses
  • July 6 2:19 pm Partial lunar eclipse at 15°16′ Capricorn · 9th house
  • July 11 9:18 am Neptune turns retrograde at 8°54′ Aries · 12th house
  • July 20 4:09 pm Mars enters Cancer · 3rd house
  • July 21 10:55 pm Total solar eclipse at 29°51′ Cancer · 3rd house
  • August 6 5:17 am Mars sextile Saturn · 3rd and 1st houses

  • September 19 12:27 pm Mercury turns retrograde at 18°36′ Libra · 6th house
  • September 21 7:54 am Mars square Saturn · 4th and 1st houses

Venus turns direct on the evening of June 22, and the next afternoon Mars conjoins Uranus in your 2nd house: the temptation of an impulse buy marks the end of the retrograde. Late that same night, June 23, comes the first Saturn–Pluto square, between your sign and your 10th house: who you are becoming against the role others expect of you; the tension returns on November 15. On July 6, the lunar eclipse in Capricorn touches your 9th house: a study or travel plan gets decided. Mars enters Cancer on July 20, the day before the total solar eclipse of July 21, in your 3rd house: a summer of conversations and short trips. In late August, the center of gravity tips: Saturn turns retrograde in your sign on the 22nd, giving you time to reread April’s commitment, and on the 24th Jupiter enters Libra, your 6th house. On the evening of September 18, Uranus turns retrograde in your 2nd house, and Mercury follows the next day in your 6th: finances and the way you organize your work are under revision until October 11.

Fall and year’s end (September 22 – December 31): daily life gets bigger

  • September 24 3:39 am Jupiter trine Pluto · 6th and 10th houses
  • September 28 3:29 pm Jupiter opposite Neptune · 6th and 12th houses
  • October 11 6:30 am Mercury turns direct at 3°29′ Libra · 6th house

  • November 5 7:15 pm Mars trine Saturn · 5th and 1st houses

  • November 15 7:29 am Saturn square Pluto · 1st and 10th houses
  • November 16 8:18 am New Moon at 24°43′ Scorpio · 7th house
  • December 16 3:56 pm Neptune turns direct at 6°06′ Aries · 12th house
  • December 21 3:46 am Mars enters Libra · 6th house
  • December 31 11:51 am Total lunar eclipse at 10°35′ Cancer · 3rd house

Fall belongs to Jupiter in the 6th house. Its trine to Pluto, on September 24, puts a method at the service of an ambition; on the 28th, its opposition to Neptune, from your 12th house, is the season’s tricky date: a workload that swells to avoid a question. On the evening of October 23, Mars enters Virgo, your 5th house, trine your sign, until December 21: pleasures get their energy back. On October 27, Jupiter trine Uranus links your daily work to your income: the best date of the fall for money. The Full Moon of November 2, at 10°29′ Taurus, near a retrograde Saturn, takes stock of the cycle’s first six months; on November 15, the second Saturn–Pluto square raises June’s question again. The New Moon of November 16 in Scorpio, opposite you, brings the relationship back to the foreground. Neptune turns direct on December 16, Mars moves into Libra on the 21st, and the total lunar eclipse of December 31 — below the horizon in the US, rising already eclipsed over Europe — closes the year in your 3rd house: New Year’s Eve is a night for long conversations.

Love and relationships: Taurus in 2028

Your ruler opens the year in your favor: Venus in Taurus from March 4 to April 3 is your best stretch for attraction — the last window before Saturn asks you to choose. Until August 24, Jupiter in the 5th house remains the year’s great love transit: new encounters, creating together, the wish for a child, with a peak from mid-May through August. Venus retrograde, from May 10 to June 22, doesn’t reach the relationship first: it targets what you give to it — gifts, shared spending. An honest money conversation in June beats forced generosity.

Saturn in your sign changes the way you love: less availability, more reliability. In a couple, this is the year you keep what you promised or say that you can’t anymore. If you’re single, you get choosier; after August 24, encounters come through work. Fall hands the floor back to the relationship: Venus in Virgo from October 2 to 27, then, in your 7th house, the New Moon of November 16 and Venus in Scorpio from November 20: a commitment gets put into words, or renegotiated. The South Node in Cancer adds one instruction: say it rather than show it.

Work, career and money

Your career lives out its conclusion in winter: Mars in your 10th house from January 3, Mercury retrograde in the same spot from January 24 to February 14, and the annular eclipse of January 26 closing eighteen months of ambition. Pluto stays in the 10th house, retrograde from May 9 to October 19, and its two squares to Saturn, on June 23 and November 15, carry the tension of the year: the role you’re made to play against the person Saturn asks you to become. From August 24, Jupiter in the 6th house fills your calendar; Mercury, retrograde in that house from September 19 to October 11, makes you rework a system or a contract.

Money is the year’s second line of force. Uranus has been in your 2nd house since 2026, and its last two trines to Pluto, on January 13 and May 9, connect your income to your status one final time. Then Venus backs up from May 10 to June 22, Mercury from May 21 to June 14, and your accounts go under review: rates, subscriptions, an unpaid invoice that resurfaces. Uranus turns retrograde on September 18, at 14°14′ Gemini; on October 27, Jupiter’s trine to Uranus is the best date of the year to tie together what you do and what you earn. Saturn in your sign makes your value easier to read: people pay you for what you can be counted on to hold.

Health, energy and balance

Saturn in the 1st house is felt first in the body: it asks for regularity, not intensity, and lets you feel your limits sooner. Mars doesn’t go retrograde and gives the year clear seasons. From April 27 to June 7, Mars in your sign is your peak output; its conjunction with Saturn on April 30 rewards sustained effort and punishes forcing it. From October 23 to December 21, Mars in Virgo, trine your sign, is the most joyful stretch for getting moving. Jupiter in the 6th house from August 24 expands your health habits in both directions: a routine that takes root, or an appetite that overflows. Mars enters Libra, your 6th house, on December 21: routine takes charge again. Neptune, retrograde from July 11 to December 16, often explains summer fatigue.

By your birth date

Saturn takes more than two years to cover the thirty degrees of Taurus and doesn’t reach everyone born under the sign at the same time; neither does Jupiter. The table lists each decan’s exact 2028 contacts; here is what they mean.

Born April 20–29 (1st decan): Saturn, right away

You get Saturn first: on your degrees from April 13 to July 14, then again from October 1, while Pluto squares you all year. Both Saturn–Pluto squares, on June 23 at 8°23′ and November 15 at 6°35′, form on your degrees: if you were born between April 26 and 29, yours is the most solicited decan of the year. The New Moon of April 24 at 5°09′ and the Mars–Saturn conjunction of April 30 at 2°16′ make your spring the time for decisions. See the first decan of Taurus.

Born April 30 – May 9 (2nd decan): pleasure first, Saturn in summer

Jupiter sends you its trine from April 2 to June 24, and its direct station on May 13, at 17°32′ Virgo, lands on your degrees: your spring is the happiest of the three decans. The Full Moon of May 8, at 18°44′ Scorpio, puts you face to face with a partner. Saturn reaches your degrees from July 14 to October 1 and stations there on August 22, at 11°19′: summer tests you. The Full Moon of November 2 at 10°29′ Taurus lights up your first degree. See the second decan of Taurus.

Born May 10–20 (3rd decan): the gentlest year

Saturn doesn’t reach you before 2029, and you keep Jupiter. Its trine stays with you until April 2 — its retrograde station on January 12, at 27°31′ Virgo, plays out on your degrees — and again from June 24 to August 24. The total solar eclipse of July 21, at 29°51′ Cancer, sextiles your last degrees: learning or speaking up opens a door. The New Moon of November 16, at 24°43′ Scorpio, opposite you, raises a relationship question. See the third decan of Taurus.

Taurus Ascendant: this page is for you too

With a Taurus Ascendant, the houses on this page are your actual houses: Saturn lands on your Ascendant on April 13, Venus retrograde crosses your natal 2nd house in May and June, and Jupiter enters your 6th house on August 24. Read this page first for body, money and daily work, and keep your Sun sign’s page for the year’s overall momentum. The Ascendant calculator works from your birth time and place; without a time, your Sun sign and decan are still the right way in.

Your heading for 2028

Choose what you will carry until 2030. Saturn enters your sign on April 13: between the New Moon of April 24 and its conjunction with Mars on April 30, name a single commitment — a rhythm, a line of work, a way of living in your body — and give it two years. When Venus backs up from May 10 to June 22, don’t lower your price: check it.

None of these lines decides for you. Transits say which areas of life the year sets in motion, and when; what you do with them belongs to you alone, and that is what our ethics charter stands for.

Taurus in 2028: frequently asked questions

What does 2028 have in store for Taurus?

Saturn arrives in your sign on April 13, 2028, at 12:04 am ET, for two years: your body, your commitments and your image become the subject. Venus, your ruler, is retrograde from May 10 to June 22 in your money house; Jupiter moves from pleasure to daily work on August 24; and the Cancer eclipses (January 11, July 21, December 31) focus on communication and learning.

Is 2028 a good year for love for Taurus?

Yes, especially until August 24, while Jupiter crosses your 5th house in trine to your sign. Venus in Taurus from March 4 to April 3 is when you attract most naturally; from May 10 to June 22, its retrograde mostly concerns money within the couple. Venus in Scorpio from November 20, opposite you, brings the relationship back to center stage.

What does Saturn in Taurus mean for Taurus?

Saturn arrives in your sign on April 13, 2028, at 12:04 am ET, and won’t leave until May 31, 2030: its first pass since 1998–2001. It moves from your 12th house to your 1st, from inner work to visible structure. The 1st decan feels it from April, the 2nd from July to October, and the 3rd starting in 2029.

How does the May–June 2028 Venus retrograde affect Taurus?

Venus rules Taurus, and this year it goes retrograde in your 2nd house: in Gemini, from May 10 to June 22, 2028. From June to August, Jupiter finishes its trine through your 5th house. Then fall: Mars in Virgo from October 23, Jupiter trine Uranus on October 27, the Taurus Full Moon on November 2.

How is 2028 different from 2027 for Taurus?

In 2027, no slow planet crossed your sign: Saturn waited in the wings, Jupiter moved from home to pleasure, and Venus never turned retrograde. In 2028, Saturn enters your sign on April 13, Venus backs up from May 10 to June 22 in your money house, Jupiter moves into your 6th house on August 24, and the eclipses leave the career–home axis for the communication–study axis.
